Public Transit

I'm a huge advocate for walkable cities and neighborhoods as well fast, frequent, affordable, and most importantly reliable public transportation.

To me, these two factors are critical to the fabric of any community. Making movement simple and enjoyable allows for better interpersonal connections, as well as breaking down socioeconomic barriers to things like employment by reducing car-dependency.

Everyone benefits from decreased car-dependency, even those that prefer to drive. Giving people additional options for getting around will also reduce traffic on roads for drivers.

To clarify: I'm not anti-car, I'm anti-requiring a car to exist in society.
